Bedroom Project - Art Deco

The Art Deco fitted bedroom designed by Treske was inspired by the Art Deco architectural styles from the 1920s and 1930s. Using walnut and maple hardwoods and veneers Treske created bespoke set of Art Deco fitted wardrobes, a dressing table and mirror as well as bedside cabinets and a double bed. 

The wardrobes are full wall width and were made at one end to fit to the slope of the bedroom ceiling, utilising all available storage space.  Handles on the wardrobes match those on the bedside tables and dressing table and were made by Treske to echo the main design.  

The bed headboard and footboard share the same Deco profile and are made up of angular panels. This is also reflected in the dressing table mirror, set just below the ceiling slope and made in five angular segments. Small details matter in the design - such as the shelf supports each side of the art deco mirror that are made up in layers of timber in the style of the whole bedroom.
