Granite – unique character & colour
Granite is a natural material, each piece with its own unique variations, in a wide variety of colours and crystal types. Finishes can vary from the highly polished, to honed and textured. Quartz (Silestone & Samsung Quartz & Caesarstone)
Quartz is a manmade granite equivalent, made by crushing stone, mixing and then resin bonded into a virtually non-porous, durable, stain resistant, surface. Surfaces are available in different thicknesses, a huge array of colours and surface finishes. One main benefit over granite is the colour consistency and uniformed patterns available with Quartz.
Corian
Corian is an acrylic surface, made by Dupont, that is bonded onto a substrate. As an acrylic Corian can be shaped and moulded to create the ideal joint free work surface. Many customers also benefit from features including coved upstands and seamless sinks.
Wood
Used in dry areas of the kitchen, timbers lend a unique quality to the kitchen surfaces. Treske have many timbers and finishes on offer for kitchens, often used to soften breakfast bars or for end grain butchers’ blocks.
Sintered Stone (Dekton)
Dekton is one of the latest kitchen worksurfaces to be introduced to the market, developed by scientists at by Consentino using a sophisticated blend of raw materials to create the highest quality worksurface. Dekton is one of the most durable worksurfaces available, benefits include being stain, scratch, heat and fire resistant and waterproof. Due to being completely non-porous the worksurface does not require sealing. Dekton is available in a large range of colours, thicknesses and finishes.
