Customers choose Treske for their customer care, attention to detail, and the consistent quality of the furniture they receive.
Treske’s team of specialised furniture designers and skilled craftsmen have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in creating high quality cabinets and furniture pieces with care.
If you buy one of the standard designs from our website you will be contacted by one of our designers to check and confirm the exact details of what you have ordered.
For bespoke pieces of furniture, one of our experienced designers will discuss your ideas with you and look at the aesthetics and practicalities of what you want. This process often takes place in our showrooms where we have ready examples of furniture types, styles, finishes, woods and shapes to show you. Designers can visit your home, and for initial consultations on any fitted work such as home offices and bedroom wardrobes this can be important. Prior to a visit it is well worth considering what you would like to include, for example what items have to be stored and their sizes, all of which are useful for a designer who will need to know your specific requirements. Then our designer will then use their experience to develop a starting design and outline quotation for you.
Design presentations normally happen at the Treske’s showrooms, where designers have a range of example furniture items and samples to demonstrate where necessary. You will be shown designs so that you can see what the piece would look like. This is an iterative process and ensures that you have the right level of input to make sure your design is exactly what you want. Visuals showing the furniture designs will be produced to show you. We will give indicative prices during the process but only once the design is final can it be priced for you.
We protect our designs by only releasing drawings once a customer has made commitment to Treske by ordering the furniture.
Specific site surveys for fitted furniture are important as our furniture is make to order for specific areas in your home. Before the manufacturing process begins, the site survey will be used to complete our production drawings. During Treske's survey, our designer will run through final details with you and any elements that need confirmation. Following this, your furniture wil be placed into our production process, after which no further changes can be made without extra charge.
Preliminary work by other contractors, such as electrics, are discussed at the survey so as to have the space fully prepared for the fitting of your new furniture.
Once an order has been placed for bespoke Treske furniture, and a final survey where appropriate has occurred, your furniture will be issued to our workshop.
We make all our furniture cabinets here at our workshop in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The timber is hand selected for each individual furniture piece and is cut to size, planed, shaped and sanded by our trained wood machinists. Your furniture then moves to the cabinet making area, where our craftsmen carefully construct each unit or piece of furniture using time honoured skills and techniques.
Once the units are assembled, our polishing, finishing and painting department finish each surface by hand, taking the utmost care to ensure your kitchen is to the Treske standard and will stand the test of time.
You are welcome to visit us during the process - please let us know so that we can invite you in at the best stages to see your furniture being made.
All furniture pieces are checked before they leave Treske. The delivery drivers will check individual items of furniture when they deliver them to you and will ask you to check as well. For fitted work we will visit your home once the work is complete to see everything in place and make sure everything is correct.
Treske furniture is fully guaranteed against any faulty component or material, or any failure in normal use, occurring within two years.
If you have questions about any aspect of the furniture, its finish or maintenance please contact us at Treske.
