Treske were asked to design bespoke furniture that could be used to display historic and rare documents as well as provide a meeting area in contemporary surroundings, but with designs that paid reference to traditional wall panelling.
The bespoke lecture table is made in four sections of maple that can be moved into different formations. The solid maple top complements and matches the contrasting walnut of the table legs. Matching display cabinets made in maple and walnut complete the suite. On each wall traditional panelling has been installed, on one side of the room including a plasma TV, all in maple and walnut to match the table.
The University chose the Rievaulx chair from the main Treske range, in maple to complement their new boardroom table.
