Description
The Treske Newby furniutre is named after one of Britains finest Adam 18th-century country houses, the house was first built in the 1690s by Sir Christopher Wren before being enlarged and adapted by John Carr and then Robert Adam. The Treske Newby furniture was first shown at Newby Hall in 2009.
The Newby Dresser is characterised by a pattern of pierced rectangles that are placed on a curve to give a soft style. The line of the drawers in the dresser base follow the same delicate curves as the rectangular pattern. The dressers' open shelves, two of which are adjustible to allow for different heights, are an excellent way of displaying decorative items. The legs of the base have gentle tapers that confer refinement.
Design
Made from solid hardwood, the Newby dresser can be made to different sizes and in different hardwoods.
