Traditional but timeless, sturdy yet refined, our comprehensive Helmsley Farmhouse furniture range echoes the atmosphere and character of its namesake.

The unspoilt market town of Helmsley lies a few miles from Treske’s Thirsk North Yorkshire showrooms and workshops base and is much visited for its historic ruined castle, beautiful riverside walks, traditional tea rooms and handsome square. It is also the start of the famous long distance footpath that loops around the North York Moors, the Cleveland Way.

Treske Helmsley Farmhouse furniture designs are traditional designs developed by Treske over the last forty years. Originally the range was made from locally-sourced ash, cut and dried at our sawmill before being made into furniture. Although Treske still make many furniture items in ash, much is now made in oak. Traditional farmouse and kitchen tables, traditional stickback and windsor chairs and bar stools, as well as a dressers and sideboards are part of the range.
