Home Office Project - Kilburn

Designed to fit within a converted garage to an historic property, Treske made this bespoke home office in ash.  Ash was chosen for its light look, strength and characteristic variety of wood grain, and for the way in which it can offset the timber framed surroundings of the office.

A desk was designed facing towards the old double doors encouraging a glance up from work at the view. The large work area provided is neatly fitted to the wall and accomodates computer cables and ohter services.  The shelves are in two parts, the breakfront base provides special storage for different depths of files while the shelves above are flexible allowing good practical book storage.
