St Martin in the Fields - George Richards Room

Within the St Martin in the Fields administration is the George Richards Room. A table, sideboard and chairs were designed for the room which had to function as a board room, as well as holding informal meetings and hosting catered events.

The table at 3 metres long and 1.2 metres wide is made in walnut, the wood left in its natural dark milk chocolate colour, and seats twelve comfortably. The trestle leg design of the Treske V&A Arts and Crafts table used allows all to sit along each side without meeting a table leg. The walnut of the chairs matches the table and are a strong design with an upholstered seat and back.

The sideboard is designed in the same style as the table, with similar arts and crafts features, and is also made in walnut. The main aim is functionality with drawers and easy access to good storage cupboards.
