Staines Preparatory School

Special ash shelving was designed for the library of Staines Preparatory School. The shelving was made to exactly fit the available space and to maximise book storage. The reversible shelves enable books to be displayed both traditionally, or face up – an important part of encouraging young people to initially pick up a book.

Treske also made six library tables in a modular format to enable different table configurations to be used. Chairs were also made and upholstered in a burgundy colour durable contract fabric.

A desk made to meet the needs of the librarian was accompanied by matching drawer and filing cabinets.
