The Black Swan, Oldstead
The Black Swan refurbished its restaurant area to create the perfect ambience for its clientele. The Banks family selected 52 Artisan Neva oak chairs with leather upholstered seats - giving comfort and style to the seating within the Michelin Star restaurant. The Neva chairs have also been chosen for the family's other restaurant - Roots, in Marygate York.
The Black Swan has won many accolades and was recently awarded Best Restaurant in the UK 2018 by the Food and Travel Magazine as well as a 2017 accolade from TripAdvisor as the "Best Fine Dining Restaurant in the World". The Chef Tommy Banks was Britain's youngest Michelin-starred chef in 2013 also winning the Great British Menu in 2016 and 2017.
The wood seat version of the Neva chair won a major interantional design prize in the prestigious Red Dot Awards for their appearance and design.
