The Banks selected 48 Artisan Neva chairs in oak with leather upholstered seats. The Neva Chair had originally been chosen for the family’s Michelin Star restaurant, The Black Swan, which has been such a success that the Neva chair was chosen again.

Roots was established in the old building previously home to The Bay Horse, which has been tastefully renovated with a similar décor as The Black Swan. Roots focuses intensely on the seasonality of its produce, the menu revolves around three distinct seasons using produce from the family kitchen garden.

The wooden seat version of the Neva chair won a major international design prize in the prestigious Red Dot Awards for their appearance and design.
